Dental Crown and Bridge

Dental Bridge

Dental crowns and bridges are restorative dental solutions designed to enhance both the function and appearance of teeth.

Dental Crowns are custom-made coverings that encase a tooth, restoring its shape, size, and strength. They are often used to protect a tooth with gross cavities, cover a tooth that has undergone root canal treatment, or improve the aesthetics of a discolored or misshapen tooth.

Dental Bridges, on the other hand, are used to replace one or more missing teeth. They consist of one or more artificial teeth anchoring onto adjacent natural teeth. Bridges help restore oral function, prevent shifting of surrounding teeth, and improve overall bite alignment.

Both crowns and bridges are crafted from durable materials that match the natural color of teeth, ensuring a seamless appearance. These solutions are vital for maintaining dental health and enhancing smiles.

Crown Preparation

Tooth crown preparation involves shaping the affected tooth to ensure a proper fit for the crown. This process typically begins with the removal of any decay and old fillings, followed by reducing the tooth's structure to create space for the crown. Precise measurements are taken to ensure the crown aligns correctly with neighboring teeth and maintains proper bite function.

Impression

Using a state-of-the-art 3D camera, we capture precise images of your tooth structure, eliminating the need for traditional molding processes. This method not only enhances accuracy but also improves patient comfort, allowing for a more efficient and streamlined experience. After taking the impression, we will create a temporary crown and place it on the tooth while the permanent crown is made in the lab.

Crown Delivery

Once the crown has been properly fitted to the tooth, it is securely cemented in place using luting or bonding cement. This process ensures a strong bond between the crown and the natural tooth structure, providing durability and support. Typically, the entire process from initial preparation to final cementation, takes about two weeks.
